About

Technology has always been a passion. I can still recall the excitement I had when writing programs or playing games on my Commodore PET, C64, C128, Apple 2, and Amiga personal computers.

I’m one of the few that know Gopher is more than just an animal; that Veronica is more than a fictional character in the Archie comic; and that Telnet isn’t an add-on service for your phone. I was surfing the Internet when there were no images and building websites using the same technologies. In fact, building websites made me a very popular Joe in university as I always had money. The beers on me!

During the 90′s, I was the CEO of Internet Multimedia Innovations (IMI). We built custom software applications and websites while developing an email application called Iris Emailer which competed against Eudora and Netscape mail. Our software sold worldwide in 32 different countries. Business flourished until Microsoft released Outlook Express in 1996 which lead to product discontinuation in 1999. Fortunately, we still had our custom software and web development. That is, until the dot-com crash in March of 2000 and IMI’s doors were closed as well.

Between 2002 and 2008 I was involved with two startups the catered to the development of software and services used by the US Government, the SEC, the DOJ, the UN, NASA and the majority of the top 100 largest law firms in the world. I owe my in-depth business knowledge to being involved with both of these organizations.

In early 2008, I decided to pursue the provision of consultation services and my own endeavors. Little did I know that I did so on the eve of a recession. That being said, I have been focusing on providing high technology services and am currently working contractually as Business Information Manager for a government organization that services the needs of small business. There are separate developments in process so stay tuned for more exciting news as I embark in personal business once again.
